Russia Supports The Efforts Of UN Envoy To Launch A Dialogue In Yemen

The Russian president’s envoy to the Middle East and North Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov, stressed that his country supports the efforts of UN Special Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed to resolve the Yemeni crisis

In a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Bogdanov and Ould Cheikh Ahmed expressed their concern for the situation in Yemen and the continuing violence and killing of civilians

For his part, Ould Cheikh Ahmed praised the role of Russia to overcome the crisis in the Middle East, including help in finding solutions in Yemen
